Paint is 10% paint and 90% everything else.

The crisp line where wall meets ceiling. The outlet covers off, not taped around. The furniture wrapped like it's being shipped overseas. We're obsessive about the parts you'd never photograph — because that's where paint jobs go wrong.

Two-year touch-up promise on every interior — we come back, free, twice.

The prep — where the money actually goes

Anyone can roll a wall. Almost nobody preps one.

STEP 01

Seal the room

Plastic-sheeted doorways with zippers, floors papered edge to edge, vents masked. Dust stays where the work is.

STEP 02

Fix the wall, not just its color

Nail pops cut out, cracks V-grooved and taped, old drips sanded flat. Paint magnifies whatever's under it.

STEP 03

Prime with intent

Stain-block on water marks, bonding primer on glossy trim, tinted primer under deep colors. One product does not fit all.

STEP 04

Cut lines by hand

Ceilings and corners cut freehand by painters with a decade on the brush. Tape is for protecting, not for aiming.

"I watched him cut the ceiling line freehand and it's straighter than the laser level we bought. The whole crew treats your house like a museum install."

"They found water damage behind the paint we asked them to just cover. Showed us, fixed it properly, still finished on the day they promised."

"Cabinets look factory-new. They took the doors to their shop and our kitchen never smelled like a paint job. Ate dinner at home all week."
